Described as the "best ever version of the iconic sports car” with a history spanning almost five decades by the German luxury carmaker, the brand new Porsche 911 Carrera has made its Middle East and Africa media debut. Porsche Middle East and Africa managing director George Wills told a select group of journalists at the event held in Abu Dhabi that “We have more than 600 pre-orders for the new 911 Carrera,”. The very first deliveries of this stunning automobile had their international debut at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show and now is all set to start on February 11 for left-hand drive markets and March 10 for right-hand drive markets. Porsche’s head of design Michael Mauer said that it is the core product of the automaker pointing out the fact that the 911 has been a design icon since its debut in 1963.
