A new Ferrari museum opened at the weekend in Via Paolo Ferrari, Modena, in honour of Enzo Ferrari. Mauro Tedeschini, President of the Fondazione Casa di Enzo Ferrari said in the official site: "It is with great satisfaction and enthusiasm that, after years of intense work by the Fondazione Casa di Enzo Ferrari, we are on the point of inaugurating this important cultural asset, that will tell the world the story of this great figure and the vocation for motoring of this area,"
The house of Enzo Ferrari, which was built back in 1898, is the base of the complex that all in all costs €18 million. A new building, in the form of now famous yellow aluminum "bonnet", has then be added to the house, which is the symbolic color of Modena as well as the color chosen by Enzo Ferrari as the background to the Prancing Horse, the trademark logo of the company. Ferrari fans can now witness the history and the story of Ferrari by only visiting this amazing museum and the stars will be the cars. They will be surrounded by showcases which will contain objects and memorabilia, historic documents, and other stuff like the contribution of original audio-visual footage which reconstructs the identity of Motor Valley of Emilia Romagna which acquired global importance as time went by.
