Shoes, wallets, belts or bags can be brought to the spa where the damage will be assessed and repair will take place. Most of the times, the item is returned back to its client but some items would be sold as “Preloved” items like the limited edition Gucci bag. It is no longer on the market. However, if you want to buy a new one, it would cost about Dh14,000 but, if bought as a “Preloved”, the price would be around Dh 5,500.
In the two months since they opened the boutique in Jumeirah- Dubai, Dhiraj Munjwani and Jai Tolani have become familiar. On the display, Jai points towards a white Louis Vuitton Mahima bag and says: “That sat in a cupboard for two years. Look at it now. It took us three weeks and cost around Dh1,500 to restore but the bag cost about Dh10,000 so it is worth it." Both guys hope to expand their business across the region. A big market is there in KSA, Qatar, Kuwait and even India. Jai added: “Women love bags. All we want to do is show them how they can love them better.”
