Just when you think that things have reached the limits with the Mercedes Benz SLS AMG, you get to be introduced to the new version of the modern-day rendition of Gullwing, it is the SLS AMG GT. This new version comes with added power, equipped with better suspension settings and also the recalibrated transmission has been improved which make it stronger and larger than the original model. Now let’s go under the hood for a bit. The GT uses the same 6.2 liter V8 engine of the SLS model, same 7 speed shift dual-clutch transmission of the AMG, torque output remains at 479 pound-feet with extra 20 horsepower and sot this baby can reach 100 kmph in just 3.6 seconds!
Some enhancements took place interiorly including the new Designo style package that comes in three colors combinations and sports the finest leather surfaces with contrast stitching and diamond quilt pattern on the doors and seats. You can also get the other options available like the carbon fiber parts for both the interior and the exterior. There is also the ceramic brakes option, a Bang & Olufsen sound system along with some nice options concerning the wheels. The SLS AMG GT will be available in coupe and roadster versions and will go on sale in the U.S. in mid-November but still no clue about the pricing.
