We thought we’ve seen it all when it comes to body job or paint jobs, I mean, what more to expect than cars covered in gold, full chrome and other precious metals! But seems like Gemballa has something to say about this! The Porsche tuner has come up with a new invention that is worthy of its name. But first of all, you guys should know that this thing doesn’t go along so well with people who have the “How much does it cost?” question on their minds whenever they encounter something of their interest. An executive for the company, Hanno Heintz, stated: “We don’t speak of prices. Most of our customers don’t want to speak about money."
Gemballa stated that they can spray the cars with a paint, appears to be metallic silver, but instead of using small metal flakes, crystals or glass beads, they use small diamonds! Based on the client’s demand, the paint can be used to coat the interior or the exterior.
In order to apply the painting, clients will have to either buy a new Porsche from a dealership near Gemballa or just ship theirs to Leongberg where the workshop is located. It is also planned to showcase a diamond-coated car at the Dubai Motor Show next year where Heintz expects to be of interest to some people. Not much info is revealed by Gemballa about their project, for instance, it’s not quite clear how approximately the paint would cost, or how many carats of diamonds it would take to paint a car but, for sure it is going to cost a sum very few can manage to pay.
