The group also visited a variety of Hotels during their stay: Dhevatara Beach Hotel, Four Seasons Resort, Kempinski Seychelles Resort, MAIA Luxury Resort & Spa, Raffles Praslin Seychelles & The Wharf Hotel.
"This trip follows on from a successful corporate event that we held in Saudi Arabia last month in conjunction with Etihad Airways and has equipped the agents with a better understanding as to how to position and sell the destination to their discerning clientele, says Ahmed Fathallah, Regional Manager, Seychelles Tourism Office, Middle East who escorted the group. This is a strategic partnership that will be a boon to customers. It further enhances our products," said Shehab Turk, Manager – Business Development of Etihad Airways KSA.
The Seychelles Islands has achieved significant growth from the Middle East market in 2011 receiving over 12,800 visitors from the region, with a 54% increase from the KSA market and 43% from the remaining Middle East markets. KSA remains a lucrative market and a series of activity is planned in this market to substantially growth this area says Fathallah.
