Michael Phelps, the 27 years old USA swimmer, argued to be the most decorated Olympian of all time, is Louis Vuitton’s new Core Values campaign face. The campaign features the Olympic star in a black speedo and some goggles submerged in a stark bathtub besides a Vuitton tote promoting the brand’s high-end range of day bags and luggage. In another image, Phelps is depicted chatting to the former Soviet gymnast, Larissa Latynina, who was the most decorated Olympian until July 31 with 18 medals, until Phelps took her spot. Phelps follows in the footsteps of fellow celebrities Muhammad Ali, Sean Connery, Angelina Jolie and singer Bono in modeling for the brand’s Core Values campaign.
