"True Blood" star Alexander Skarsgard sizzles in this Calvin Klein ad for Encounter perfume for men. The fashion campaign includes a Fabien Baron-directed short film, starring Skargård and supermodel Lara Stone. The ad, conceived by consulting creative director, Fabien Baron, makes the best out of Skarsgård’s rep as a smoldering, the breakout vampire television series and the sexy beast in True Blood. Encounter is said to be as seductive as its frontman is, despite the fact that in the ad, the fragrance seems to be lost in the maelstrom surrounding the accompanying ad campaign. In the clip, Alexander is seen driving through the rain to his destination to meet with Stone in a modern house located by a Cliffside. Calvin Klein said: “Their idea for their concept was very intriguing to me. It was almost like a short film and very film noir. It felt interesting to me." Encounter will be available globally starting September.
