As for designing outfits for the upcoming movie “The Great Gatsby”, Prada and Miu Miu have taken care of the matter. The fashion-related silver screen adaptation by Baz Luhrmann, starring Tobey Maguire, Carey Mulligan and Leonardo DiCaprio, is creating a quite a buzz. 40 dresses from past Prada and Miu Miu collections will be adapted for the movie, basing on an interview of Miuccia Prada published in Vogue. Prada Spring/Summer 2012 menswear collection represents an amazingly seductive first approach the 1920s. Back in 1996 for Romeo + Juliet movie, the director asked the Italian designer to create one of Leonardo DiCaprio’s unusual outfits and the second collaboration between Miuccia Prada and Baz Lurhmann promises to be spectacular. As for Carey Mulligan’s outfits, they will designed by Tiffany & Co’s. The adaption of Francis Scott Fitzgerald written in 1925, will hit the cinemas in July 2013.
