Founded in 1830, the Maison d’Horlogerie Baume & Mercier has always catered not only to men, but also to discerning women, offering excellence in craftsmanship, design and elegance. This coveted brand was one of the first to create feminine timepieces in the Golden Twenties, and since its inception has garnered world acclaim as the watch with which to track and celebrate life’s special moments. Over the years, Baume & Mercier has relied on its many insights into feminine desires, using this as inspiration to continually develop new pieces that are at once timelessly elegant and on the cutting edge of current sophisticated lifestyles.
Today, those prolific abilities in product creation and its spirited interpretations of lifestyles are immediately evident in the newest introductions to the 2012 Hampton Collection for women. Now, Baume & Mercier reveals a series of three Hampton Women Small watches that offer a classic and refined design. This new more petite size makes a truly feminine statement, and still underscores the chic elegance the Hampton line is renowned for.
It was just eighteen years ago, in 1994, that Baume & Mercier first unveiled its Hampton Collection in honor of the elegant Hampton’s spirit. Inspired by a museum piece from the 1940’s, the Hampton collection combines key design elements of the original highly distinctive rectangular case shape with stylish and modern accents. Today’s reinterpretation of this iconic piece in delicate small size gracefully embodies vintage Art Deco styling in a thoroughly modern expression.
