Lancel, the French luxury maroquinerie owned by the Richemont Group, announced the appointment of Fabrizio Cardinali as Chief Executive Officer, effective October 1, 2012.
A native Italian, Mr. Cardinali, 43, has had an extensive career within the fashion and accessories industry. He has held key roles at Dolce & Gabbana, where he is currently the Sales & Marketing Director following a 6-year tenure as Worldwide Director of D&G. Prior to this Mr. Cardinali held senior international positions at Diesel Group and Levi Strauss & Co. Throughout his career, Mr. Cardinali has worked across countries and functions to reposition brands and build global presence.
