Richard Gere’s “Arbitrage” screened by Piaget

Swiss luxury watchmaker, Piaget, partnered with The Wall Street Journal for a special screening of the intense drama, “Arbitrage,” at Lincoln Center’s Walter Reade Theater. Nicholas Jarecki made his directorial debut and attended the screening with cast members Richard Gere and wife, Carey Lowell, Susan Sarandon, “it girl” Brit Marling, Nate Parker, Laetitia Casta, Evelina Turen and editor-in-chief of Vanity Fair, Graydon Carter, who has a cameo in the film.
New York notables came out to support the movie amid the crowds of New York Fashion Week, including Zac Efron, Chris Noth, Gina Gershon, Sophie Curtis, Celia Weston, famed photographers, Patrick Demarchelier and Bruce Weber, designers, Jill Stuart, Erin Fetherston, Todd Oldham and stylist, George Kotsiopoulos. “Today Show” weatherman anchor, Al Roker and wife, Deborah Roberts, new “LIVE! with Kelly” co-host, Michael Strahan, along with television personalities, Jim Cramer, John Stossel, Bryant Gumbel, Ashleigh Banfield, Contessa Brewer, Deborah Norville and Nicole Lapin attended the screening.
Following the film, Piaget co-hosted an intimate reception at Graydon Carter’s Monkey Bar. Guests, including the cast, celebrated the film at the classic New York venue with specialty cocktails, oysters and of course, Piaget’s signature cupcakes.
