Shoppers in the UAE confirmed just how style-savvy they are by answering the question, “Who is Your Fashion Icon?” at the World of Fashion event, which took place earlier this month. Out of the thousands of votes, Victoria Beckham was crowned the top fashion icon. The former Spice Girl turned serious fashion designer was followed closely by Qatar’s Sheikha Mozah bint Nasser Al Missned in second place and Italian fashion designer Giorgio Armani in the third spot.
During “Who is Your Fashion Icon?” at Mall of the Emirates, the Central Galleria was decorated with life-size images of fashion icons from all over the world that included, among others, Alexa Chung and Kate Moss.
In partnership with American Express Middle East, “Who is Your Fashion Icon?” invited shoppers to nominate their ultimate style icons, for a chance of winning an AED 5,000 luxury shopping spree for one lucky voter, as well as lunch for two at Momo and an AED 300 voucher at the Kempinski Hotel.
