Swarovski unveils two new watches for 2013, before presenting its entire collection at Baselworld. Since the foundation of the company in 1895, Swarovski watches represent a watchmaking tradition at its most demanding and combines the magic of crystal with high-tech Swiss made standards.
As in previous years, Swarovski will once again present its Men’s and Women’s WatchCollections at Baselworld – the World Watch and Jewelry Show in Basel, Switzerland. Prior to the exhibition, which will take place in a spectacular setting of over 2,000 m and shall for the first time present Swarovski as a multi-category brand with four different business units, the company unveils two of its brilliant new watches. The “Lovely Crystals” watch, launched in 2012 is feminine and elegant. This delicately proportioned timepiece shines with 16 freely moving clear Zirconia stones, which glide around the dial in a circular motion. Their sparkle highlights the mother-of-pearl dial, which is adorned with a little heart at the 8 o’clock position. The stainless steel and yellow-gold PVD coated bracelet adds a timeless touch to this unique watch.
After last year’s success, the “OCTEA abyssal” watch is part of Swarovski’s second Men’s Watch Collection. This highly representative piece now features a stainless steel and matt silver-colored aluminum case and bracelet. This automatic movement watch has a sporty appeal, combining masculinity and modernity. The rotatable black ceramic bezel is entirely faceted, and black crystals embellish the strap for a graphic edge.
